**The Company**:
An established multinational information technology company is expanding the team and is looking for a DC Support Specialist.
**The Role**:
As a DC Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Colocation room control
1.1 Colocation room patrol
1.1.1 Perform patrol in accordance with predefined schedule
1.1.2 Keep the record of status of key point
1.1.3 Take the corrective action or escalate to the appropriate person if there is something abnormal
2. Guided Access
2.1 Guide visitor
2.1.1 Guide visitor if there is no Personal ID card holder
3. Monitoring system management (Managed Services)
3.1 Response to alarm
3.1.1 Take necessary response to the alarm reported by customer device monitoring system
4. Data Center entry / exit for customer
5. Shipping management
5.1.2 Register the schedule as necessary
5.2 Parcel management
5.2.1 Receive parcel to ship from customer
5.2.2 Store the parcel to be sent in storage and tag for future reference
5.2.3 Hand the parcel to delivery/ carrier company
5.3 Delivery ship management
5.3.1 Check the delivery ship and arrange the pick-up date and time (support)
5.3.2 Keep the delivery slip for future reference (support)
6. Receiving management
6.1.2 Register the schedule as necessary
6.2 Parcel management
6.2.1 Receive parcel from shipping company
6.2.2 Store the received parcel in storage and tag for future reference
6.2.3 Hand the parcel to the customer and receive signature
6.3 Delivery slip management
6.3.1 Keep the delivery slip for future reference
7. Common facility management
7.1 Arrange schedule
7.1.1 Manage and arrange the usage schedule
8. Rental Item management
8.1 Check the rental status
8.1.1 Check if all the item to be rent out (tools, monitors, etc) is there (every night)
8.1.2 Check the condition of rental item and cleaning or repair as necessary
8.2 Rack shelf plate management
8.2.1 Understand and manage rack shelf plate
8.2.2 Request additional plate appropriate party as necessary
9. Carry-in / out
9.1.2 Arrange the schedule as necessary
9.2 Care protection management
9.2.1 Check care protection status prior to the carry-in / out work
9.2.2 Check if DC facility is damaged by carry-in / out work
9.3 Attend to carry-in / out work
9.3.1 Attend to the carry-in / out work
9.3.2 Let the customer use staging room properly
10. Remote hands
10.1 Perform basic remote hand service
10.1.1 Receive request call from customer / Receive request mail from customer / Receive notification mail from portal.
10.1.2 Check if the prerequisite conditions are satisfied
10.1.3 Perform requested operations
10.1.4 Report the completion to the customer
10.1.5 Keep the operation log for future use (billing to customer)
10.2 Run book management
10.2.1 Ensure that all the run books are stored where they should be (every night)
11. Sending notification to customer
11.1 Regular maintenance
11.2 Emergency maintenance
11.2.1 Call to customers to notify emergency maintenance
11.3 Occurrence Notification
11.3.1 Incident Notification to customer
11.3.2 Incident Escalation to management
12. Customer support (Service desk)
12.1 Incoming phone calls
12.1.2 Escalate the call to the Supervisor as necessary
12.2 Onsite support
12.2.1 Attend the customer (or other parties) to take a picture of DC
13. Quality Management
13.1 Make the reports and keep the records (each shift/daily/monthly)
14.Tape Handling
14.1 Load and unload of backup tapes according to customer’s runbook and schedule
14.2 Receive and handover of backup tapes according to runbook and schedule
**Requirements**:
- ITE
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Center environment or IT background
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Able to follow the operation manual
- Team Player
- Shiftwork (1st Shift (08:00 - 20:00 hrs) & 2nd Shift (20:00 - 08:00 hrs)
- Good customer care and communication skills
