Job Description

The Human Resources Associate will maintain the core administrative functions within the Human Resource department at AGS by fully participating in the management of workflow in a timely and effective manner. The Human Resources Associate will be responsible for all aspects relative to employee on/off-boarding, employee condition changes, compliance, Leave of Absence, Employee Accommodation requests, basic research for ad hoc projects, reporting, communications, and other critical HR processes. The Human Resources Associate will also partner with managers to provide support for employee relations and performance issues.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Update HR systems, SharePoint sites, and ensure accurate records management
- Handle special projects and initiatives for HR team as needed
- Answer employee inquiries about benefits, pay, verifications, and HR processes & procedures within the specified guidelines
- Assist employees with Leave of Absence and coordinate with Allegis Leave Team while maintaining an up-to-date tracker of those on leave or with an upcoming/expected leave.
- Assist with documents related to promotions, job changes, career progressions and maintain accurate records
- Comply with ongoing industry regulations, HR Laws, and internal compliance
- Provide administrative support and assistance to employees with separation process for both resignations and terminations, and make sure employees have a positive separation experience
- Conduct exit interview process and reporting
- Provide support to managers for employee relations concerns, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with employment and legal paperwork, disclosures, required Enterprise training, etc.
- Communicate, interpret, and enforce company policies. Partners with managers to provide guidance on personnel policies and employment law
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred
- One (1) to Three (3) years relevant work experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of HR operations and administration required
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Accuracy and detail-oriented
- Proven experience exhibiting a high level of professionalism to handle confidential information
- Bring a new perspective to challenges, situations, and problem solving
- Build relationships and able to relate well to all kinds of people at all levels inside and outside the organization, build rapport, effective relationships, and use diplomacy and tact
- Agile and willing to adapt quickly to facing new problems with a relentless attitude and desire to learn and be open to change
