**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with all A*STAR Research Institutes (BMRC, SERC and I&E) and Corp Group (Procurement) to identify and execute new and/or existing Demand Aggregation projects in Consumables and Services to achieve savings and efficiency.
- Lead the planning function to identify critical consumables and manage RSC working capital and product and services lead-time efficiently.
- Proactively support the Deputy Director (Supply Management) in identifying challenges and gaps in operational processes to drive continuous improvements.
- Cross-functional oversight and managing to focus on milestones and deliver outcomes across Demand Aggregation, Planning and Logistics.
- Manages, motivates, develops, and retains key talent.
- Perform other duties assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor?s degree in Life Sciences preferred but is not essential
- Minimum of 5 years? experience in procurement and/or supplier relationship management preferably in biomedical, life sciences and related industries
- Experience in a large organisation, working across different entities in a matrix environment
- A self-starter, and a proven track record in delivering business outcomes, and user oriented
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
**Type of Employment**: Full-Time
