**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job responsibilities**
- Innovate, design, implement and maintain automation strategies for a very reliable production systeM/Flow
- Executes standard software solution, development, and technical troubleshooting and support the FX traders, MO(middle office), Sales and other business users in CEM community
- Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language (Python preferred )
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
- Applies technical troubleshooting to breakdown solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Demonstrated ability to code in one or more languages ( Python, React JS preferred ), Technically hands-on working with Linux, scripting (Shell, Python and/or Perl) and database systems.
- Ability to understand incredibly demanding nature of the trade floor, or eagerness to experience it
- Ability to automate and build tools for improved productivity, or eagerness to learn it.
- Knowledge of FX trading with specialization in Front and/or Middle office workflows, or eagerness to learn it.
- Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle with exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security, capacity management

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information systems/ Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Engineering
- Hands -on experience with debugging, optimizing code as well as automation
- Exposure to trading technologies preferably FX or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred React JS)
- Coding beyond simple scripts
- Ability to understand incredibly demanding nature of the trade floor, or eagerness to experience it
