KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & ACTIVITIES
- Lead new items sourcing including RFI/RFPs, and use market research from internal and external sources to drive sourcing decisions
- Conduct vendor research and identify potential new vendors
- Analysis and evaluate new/potential vendors based on qualification (eg. ISO9001, IATF16949, etc) to assess the technical competencies and capabilities
- Conduct and lead initial introduction meeting with new vendors
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, such as engineers, Program, Quality and Procurement, to understand component requirements and specifications
- Engages colleagues across the organization and suppliers to optimize performance, ensure quality, delivery and cost are met with measurable results
- Acquire quotations from various vendors according to BOM specifications
- Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth purchasing processes and timely delivery of components
- Other ad-hoc related tasks assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree / Diploma (with relevant experience) in Engineers/Supply Chain/Business
- 3-5 years experiences in sourcing management with project sourcing will be added advantage
- Experience in automotive industrial will be added advantage
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in bilingual (English and Chinese)
- Able to travel local and overseas for participating relevant events and supplier visits
