Project Engineer

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

DESIGNATION : Project Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the project team to develop the project plan and schedule.
- Collaborate with Project Coordinators to ensure permits and approvals are obtained from the appropriate authorities before work commences.
- Determine the required resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish and allocate them effectively.
- Manage resource constraints as they arise.
- Track and monitor project costs.
- Manage team performance and address/resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the project team, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure the tasks are carried out effectively.
- Provide training to staff and/or ensure staff members are equipped to add value to their work.
- Regularly report on progress to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with PUB and Consultants and ensure other stakeholders are adequately engaged.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address their needs and concerns.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.
- Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation during the tender stage of the project.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the immediate superior or Head of Department.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in road, structural, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with underground utilities or similar site works is advantageous.
- Strong skills in project coordination and site supervision with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Preferably possess a valid Class 3 licenseOTHER INFORMATION
