The firm is looking to hire a research analyst in its Singapore office to support the analytical needs of its Asia practice.

The role is centered around researching and analyzing Asia's insurance industry with a focus on key factors that influence insurers' investments, such as regulations, asset-liability management, products, distribution landscapes, and other key developments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Author research report content related to emerging industry trends
- Conduct ongoing qualitative research related to report themes
- Build and cultivate relationships with insurance companies, asset managers, distributors, and institutions to enhance the quality of research.
- Construct quantitative surveys and models, including survey design, data gathering, data modeling and analysis, and exhibit creation
- Source, analyze and interpret data gathered from third party and proprietary sources.
- Manage report projects and deadlines
- Manage partnerships with industry trade associations and publications
- Assist account managers with client inquiries related to the practice's research content

**Requirements**:

- 3 to 6 years of experience in financial services, preferably related to the insurance markets
- Knowledge of insurance asset management industry
- Superior writing skills
- Aptitude for synthesizing research, identifying trends, and providing commentary on relevant industry issues
- Ability to work well autonomously, as well as in a team
- Strong attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy
- Ability to work on many initiatives concurrently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Excel; able to manipulate, and analyze sizeable amounts of data
- Knowledge of Morningstar Direct, PitchBook, eVestment and other industry databases is helpful
