WHAT IS TRUE COST AND HOW DOES IT WORK:
The first True Cost restaurant was opened in 2016. It was highly rated by guests. In 2017, the restaurant received the “Golden Palm Branch Award” awarded by Leaders Club International.
THE MAIN IDEA OF THE CONCEPT:
Guests pay to enter and order food at cost price. The menu strives to meet the highest standards at affordable prices.
We are looking for a highly motivated Chef de Partie with a great emphasis on a teamwork to work in a fast paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
Major goal - To ensure that the food served is flavourful, popular and profitable, from your allocated section within the kitchen.
- In daily operations, set up and manage all kitchen stations.
- To ensure mínimal kitchen waste.
- To communicate with the Sous Chef/Head Chef and implement new menus/dishes/systems as needed. To ensure that mis en place is completed properly.
- Check the freshness of the ingredients.
- Before the meal period, double-check and prepare a sufficient mise-en-place.
- Cook food according to standard recipes.
- Plate food in accordance with standard presentation style.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and food waste tracking.
- In order to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices, inspect and clean the kitchen, kitchen equipment, and serving areas.
- Assist junior cooks with their daily tasks.

Skills / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Qualification from a culinary school.
- Past experience working in a similar role.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.
- Positive working attitude
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $2,600.00 - $2,800.00 per month
