**The Role**
- Alongside the other members of the team, ensure that the Carrier Management related components of the Broking strategy are delivered, always aligning to our core principle of acting in the best interests of our original clients
- Join the Carrier Management Asia-Pac Team which, in part, executes upon our global scorecard objectives and ensures they are ‘fit for purpose’ in Australasia.
- Ensure the delivery of contractually committed services to carriers whilst coordinating and collaborating with our local, regional and global teams where appropriate i.e. Scheduling, documenting and effectively managing local carrier engagement activity.
- In conjunction with our Analytics and Broking Teams provide carriers with performance analytics and feedback, identifying opportunities and areas for improvement that support innovation in products, services and broader propositions.
- Lead and support development of our Carrier Management value proposition, alongside supporting innovation in products, services and propositions more broadly ie. Facilities and platforms
- Be the focal point of our relationships with key markets, internally and externally, plus lead or support the local/regional/ global coordination of activity as required.
- Lead aspects of and support the sales activities related to our Carrier Service Agreements
- whether new sales, renewal of existing agreements, or cross sell of WTW services.
- Manage formal preparation of Business Development proposals, its costing, negotiation and presentation to key stakeholders.
- Effectively manage the renewal process of existing carrier agreements ie. early engagement and discussions, legal documentation preparation and execution.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording, management and execution of MDI carrier related activities.
- Participate on regular local and/or regional Carrier Management calls.
- Working along with the Head of Broking and L&C, implement controls and protocols as requested by MDIC ie. budget, reporting, submissions.Financial KPIs
- Work with the Asia Head of Broking and Head of CM Asia-Pac to prepare, submit and manage MDI within the region.
**The Requirements**
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with the Broking teams, taking responsibility for alignment and coordination with specific business units and functions
- Practical experience of broking and/ or underwriting processes and practices, working towards or holding relevant qualifications would be advantageous
- Project management/ organization skills and experience and ability to deliver to timeframes
- Presentation and communication skills - ability to present clearly, translating concepts and information in a manner that is appropriate and accessible to all levels
- Self-reliance - self-starter, thinks around problems, creative and resourceful, able to priorities and work under pressure
- People skills - upward and direct management, persuasion, negotiation, diplomacy, able to work within mixed and virtual teams, able to forge links and build networks with different WTW teams
- Analytical capability - comfortable to undertake or instruct the organization, analysis and interpretation of structured and unstructured data and information to be used for decisionmaking
- Flexibility, ability to integrate within the team, and willingness to do what is needed to deliver high quality service to the carriers and internal stakeholders
- Good spoken / written English & Mandarin/Cantonese language skills
- Practical experience of portfolios, facilities and panels would be an added advantage
