**J**ob Title: Line of Business Head - Accident & Health**

**Location: Singapore**

**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a Line of Business Head to lead our successful Accident & Health book for Singapore domestic and wholesale portfolio.

Within the role you’ll manage a team of Underwriters in making good underwriting decisions to continue our strong growth in the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead Singapore A&H portfolio with a focus on portfolio management, market engagement and leadership.
- Drive A&H domestic and wholesale portfolio strategy, including monitoring, identifying and managing market trends and regulatory, political and macro-economic developments to deliver sustained profitability and growth.
- Drive and maintain relationships with key distributors in support of business retention and growth.
- Work with customers and distributors to determine their insurance-related needs and provides solutions.
- Underwrite new and renewal business within delegated authority levels within Zurich risk appetite.
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge and expertise in products and industry. Responsible for the performance, professional development, training and coaching of A&H Underwriting team.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or finance and several years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing insurance client portfolios with a proven track record of success in managing and delivering strong underwriting results within A&H.
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders and convey underwriting decisions clearly.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Reinsurance are highly preferred.
