**Job Description Summary**: You will be responsible to coordinate and perform calibration of all measuring instruments, tools, gages, equipment which is under the Metrology Lab responsibilities, and ensuring that sub-masters used in the calibration process is traceable to credible known standards.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Organize and maintain a Calibration System of all measuring instruments, test equipment and fixtures in operation consistent with operating procedures and policies
- Responsible for ensuring adequate accuracy in the use of measuring and test equipment so as to assure conformance to product requirement
- Establish and maintain written calibration procedures covering measuring and test equipment and measurement standards which will be traceable to higher standards
- Performs calibration and/or certification of a wide variety of measuring instruments and systems
- Maintain an inventory control system to ensure adequate stock of replacement items to ensure continuous operation of instruments
- Coordinate and administer the utilization of Coordinate Measuring Machine
- Perform First Article Inspection
- Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with 3 years of relevant experience
- Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Materials/Quality Assurance Engineering; or
- Diploma in Mechanical/Materials/Quality Assurance Engineering
- Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Experience in CMM work, precision metrology, set-up assembly and operate metrology equipment
- Knowledge in furnace, oven, and airflow stand calibrations
- Knowledge of measuring instrument
- Ability to read engineering drawings
