**Overview**:
This is your chance to have a critical impact at a dynamic technology company in the midst of an exciting globalization journey. You'll be joining the Group International Legal department which oversees legal matters for the Client's group and coordinates with the legal teams within each division of the group. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Privacy Counsel to build and manage Client Group’s global privacy program, as well as supporting and working with the established privacy team in the legal group of our Games division.

This position will report to the International General Counsel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and further the vision, strategy, and direction for all data protection and privacy projects and programs for our global (ex-China) business units, including music streaming, e-commerce, e-sports, intelligent learning, and others
- Build, optimize, and implement privacy processes and programs, including but not limited to, incident response, third party vendor management, data governance, and privacy and commitment review
- Work closely with executive management, product, technology development and operations, and other cross-functional teams to implement privacy by design and privacy by default
- Create and deliver privacy trainings and communications to our employees
- Collaborate and coordinate with outside counsel
- Work across different disciplines, cultures, and time zones
- Take on other relevant duties as assigned and commensurate with your ability

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified lawyer in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Hong Kong and/or Singapore
- 8+ years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house with 4+ years of focus on privacy
- Strong knowledge of global privacy laws in the US, Canada, EU, Japan, and Korea
- Fluency in English; ability to confidently speak and read/write Mandarin Chinese is a plus
- Familiarity or interest in the interactive entertainment industry in general
