Job description:
Responsible for delivering all assigned Piping activities in a cost-effective, safe and efficient manner through contractors with minimum interruption to project.

Lead contractors in field piping activities with high safety standards; ensure all activities comply with authorities, industrial and company HSE standards and requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders, coordinates reviews and schedule optimizations, resource leveling etc. and prompt updates to the Work Plan.

Provide conceptual ideas for field route piping and produce quality sketches, check accuracy of approved construction drawing and documentation for execution.

Carry out mechanical line and equipment checks, able to coordinate Structural and E&I activities progress, Support Construcability reviews for project.

Conduct site inspection and explain work requirements to contractors; develop work plan with contractors, operations, maintenance, and other stakeholders for execution with minimum interruption to project and ensure field work sequences are aligned.

Coordinate with multi-disciplines during field execution.

Drive contractors management to deliver contractors productivity improvements, contractors’ competency and assurance, including developing relevant work procedures and Quality. Accept or reject the quality of work and goods provided by contractors/vendors.

Establish time schedule/execution plan for more complex project with multi-disciplinary involvement amongst operations, maintenance, and contractors. Approval of construction related method statements.

Prepare and deliver weekly works & field progress report. Support computation and calculation of progress measurement, monitor work progress and able to provide schedule catch-up plan.

Organize Mechanical Completion review and assist in operation readiness review for project handing over.

HSSE: Act in compliance with the corporate HSSEQ Management System Policy, the MODEC Life Saving Rules, and the policies, guides, process standards and work instructions available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Act to promote the preservation of the environment, the health and occupational safety (personnel and their team), the safety of processes, and the preservation of assets in their scale of responsibility.

Emergency Plan: As per indication on the Training Matrix, Emergency Management Guide and Offshore Emergency Management, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Job Requirement:
Minimum of 6 - 10 years’ relevant experience or above in piping design and field execution, construction, and project management in oil and gas.

Familiar with field piping excution processes and standards in the oil & gas industry.

Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) required.

Proficient with Microsoft Project is added advantage.

Ability to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment.

Ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action.

Strong ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively.

Fluency in written and spoken English + Mandarin is required.
