**Job Summary**
- Our client operates an engineering and construction firm committed to leading the green energy transition through large-scale infrastructure projects.
- As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering underground gas and hydrogen pipeline projects, ensuring quality, safety, and innovation in mechanical engineering solutions.
- Working hours: 5.5 days work week

**Scope of Work**
- Plan, implement, supervise, and oversee to ensure safe and reliable operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure works
- Formulate, review, and implement SOP, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures and schedules including monitoring of inventory (spare parts, tools and equipment) to ensure adequate supplies and maintenance for operation readiness
- Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices, relevant authorities’ COP
- Implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability
- Plan, organize and execute commissioning/ decommissioning of gas or hydrogen pipeline systems
- Prepare budget and monitor expenditures within approved budget
- Co-ordinate and attend meetings with internal teams, clients, consultants, third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of our work and regulatory bodies
- Supervise and manage workers, subcontractors, suppliers
- Maintain proper documentation and filing system
- Assist in the evaluation of tenders/quotation
- Perform Standby Duties for emergency work activation after office hours

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from university recognized by Singapore PE Board
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing gas or hydrogen pipeline infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in engineering software, e.g. AutoCAD, BIM etc. would be advantageous
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
- Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous
- Salary commensurate with experience.
