At **The Straits Geriatrics Centre**, we are dedicated to providing specialized care for elderly patients, ensuring they receive the support they need with warmth and professionalism. As a **Clinic Nurse**, you will play a vital role in both patient care and clinic operations, making a real difference in the lives of seniors.
**Your Role**:
✔ Provide nursing care and support for elderly patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being
✔ Assist doctors during assesments and consultations
✔ Perform basic health screenings and monitor patients' vital signs
✔ Educate patients and caregivers on medication management and chronic disease care
✔ Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and registration
✔ Handle administrative duties, including billing, claims, and maintaining accurate patient records
✔ Ensure a high level of customer service, addressing patient needs with patience and empathy
✔ Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care
✔ Manage clinic inventory and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked
✔ Demonstrate clinical competencies such as venepuncture, administering injections, catheterization, health screening, and ECG monitoring.
**Who We’re Looking For**:
✔ Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license
✔ Experience in geriatrics, primary care, or clinic nursing preferred
✔ Strong clinical skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with elderly patients and caregivers
✔ Proficient in clinic management software and administrative tasks
✔ A proactive team player who can multitask in a fast-paced environment
