**Role **:Telecom Manager**

**Job Type : Long term contract**

**Location : Singapore**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, implement and manage new standards programme within Telecommunication/ IT standards committee.
- Undertake engagement/collaborative proceedings with industry members (both domestic and international) to work towards developing relevant national info-communication standards.
- Provide advice to stakeholders in adoption and implementation of standards, technical references, guidelines and/or best practices.
- Keep abreast of developments in the policy domain and standards in global landscape and industry.
- Participate and/or contribute to international standardisations discussions in identified technical domain areas.
- Support ad-hoc projects, events and/or researches.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor/Master Degree in Communication Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated interest and willingness to learn and understand new technologies.
- Experience in TCP/IP protocols and/or quantum technology is desired.
- Good understanding of info-communication domains such as 5G, IoT, edge computing, cloud, etc. will be an advantage.
- Familiar with standardisation works of info-communication technology will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field(s).
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Team player, with good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-driven, agile, and able to operate in evolving environment.
- Good in report writing and communication skills.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $8,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
