The Regional Merchandising Manager, APAC will be responsible for developing and implementing client-centric merchandise strategies, goals, and objectives for all countries in the region.

This is a hybrid role that requires:

- an analytical thinker, that can balance foresight, insight, and hindsight to draw critical business conclusions
- a collaborative partner, that can work cross-functionally with various stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- a strategic mindset, to accompany the brand transformation and strengthen the customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Buying strategies: _
- Lead assortment and product strategy
- Initiate store cluster plans seasonally
- Oversee and challenges range planning at store level following global and regional merchandising strategies
- Plan and execute core assortment in accordance with customer demand, market trends, and brand direction with respect to local nuances
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the local merchandising teams on the main investments to achieve and fulfill both image and financial objectives
- Participate in the continuous effort to improve buying process (maintenance of the BT) and strategies.
- Present the final buy (selection and depth) to the senior management to ensure global alignment with the regional product strategy
- Merchandising strategies: _
- Drive the overall vision of the product lifecycle by leading the local teams to react to sales trends, market impacts, and inventory
- Plan collection launches in-store according to the global calendar and deliveries
- Primary functions include results-driven action derived from zone/store/category analysis to drive sales and maximize inventory
- Maximize business opportunities and monitor sell-through situations to initiate appropriate strategies and tactics to liquidate stock and increase sales
- Manage stock optimization (transfers, reorders, cancellations)
- Prepare and launch the seasonal markdowns
- Partner with cross-functional regional and local teams to ensure the 360-degree implementation of the product strategy (VM, CRM, EC, GE, Retail Ops,)
- Carry out weekly and monthly reports by collection, by product category, and analyze the sell-through rate
- Inventory and financial KPIs: _
- Partner with JAPAC E-Commerce and Customer Experience Director, regional Demand Planning, regional CFO, and regional GM to define OTB at the market and product category level
- Build, evaluate and revise sales plans at country and category levels.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Regional Demand Planning to guarantee deliveries and adequate stock levels for Seasonal products
- Monitor inventory management
- Manage pricing strategy
- Communication & Collaboration:
Local to Global:

- Gather and synthesize consumer/competitor as well as market insights and partner closely with global product teams as an advocate for market needs.
- Join regular product global calls to share product performance and gather product information

Global to Local:

- Communicate Corporate product strategies information to fulfill the local execution

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- Background: _
- Prior Merchandising and/or Retail experience preferably in a luxury brand
- Proficient Knowledge of basic retail concepts and calculations
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
