Singapore ATELIER TEN (ASIA) PTE. LTD. Full time

**Job purpose**

**Key accountabilities**

Finances
- Lead on management of Atelier Ten finances including reviewing current systems to ensure that finances, including project finances, are effectively managed
- Ensure accuracy and reasonableness of financial information through reviews of monthly statements and updates to annual budgets
- Provide support with preparation of annual accounts, audits and wider statutory audit requirements should they be required
- Oversee effective financial record keeping and reporting
- Oversee and manage the project invoicing process and ensure prompt collection of accounts receivable.
- Produce cash flow projections and ensure accounts payable are paid timely.
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts in coordination with the Directors.
- Maintain the chart of accounts, an orderly accounting filing system, and a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Human Resource
- Develop more formal human resources processes including recruitment, employee evaluations, and procedure implementation
- Recommend and maintain personnel policies and procedures, annually reviewing and updating employee handbooks and office manuals.
- Oversee training and development programs including, new-employee orientations, performance management and professional development programs, and supervisor training for newly hired or promoted managers.
- Working with other directors, ensure employees have the right skills, tools and talents to perform their roles and coordinate the appropriate training and development programs
- Maintain records required for compliance with federal and state employment laws, staying abreast of current and changing regulations and their impact on the firm.
- With local office manager(s), lead recruitment efforts.
- Act as key contract point for all matters relating to competition compliance law and ensure compliance with all laws relating to Singapore
- Provide best practice advice, supporting HR Manager, Team Leaders and employees in HR issues/
- Make a significant input into the continuous improvement of all working practices, helping to further create an efficient, lean and safe working environment

Organisational Development & Management/General Business Operations
- Review and comment on complex project contracts securing outside legal advice when necessary
- Review systems, oversee developments and improvements and ensure they remain fit for the future and contribute to effective organisational effectiveness
- Manage relationships with relevant external business consultants and service providers
- Oversee legal compliance to minimise organisational risk
- Support the Directors in the effective annual strategic planning and plan implementation
- With other Directors, co-ordinate marketing and business development activities
- Provide guidance on key organisational design and change management programme
- Ensure all business practices are Company and country compliant and in line with long-term international aspirations
- Diagnose and plan the most effective course of action to undertake in key business areas - culture change, performance management, talent management and development

Governance
- Prepare all monthly and quarterly business reports, with input from other Directors
- In concert with other Directors, ensure all Board directives relating to Finance, Operations, HR, Administration, and Governance are implemented.
- Oversee all statutory reporting for tax, HR, etc.

Experience
- Leading finance and operations for a company or other organization of Atelier Ten’s size
- Working within a leadership team
- Leading an administrative team
- Leading and managing business administration projects independently, to deadlines
- Implementing and maintaining quality standards and performance metrics
- Leading workplace cultural development or transformation in multi-office organisations
- Delivering statutory or regulatory reports
- Building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, locally and in remote offices
- Managing consultant or external stakeholder relationships
- Maintaining and supporting, in concert with other Directors, relationships with clients
