**About the role**:
This is where you, our new Group SVP Logistics enter the equation, to partner with our Group COO to spearhead the full suite logistics operations network and accelerate HappyFresh's value chain consolidation through a strategic vision and scale business by driving efficiencies in lead time reduction, price reductions through both volume-purchasing as well as innovation in negotiation approach and contract structure.

**What Will You Do**:

- HappyFresh aims to be the first fully integrated grocery provider in Southeast Asia. In this role you will assume end-to-end accountability over the logistics operations that power and enable value chain consolidation: From producers (farmers, fishery and livestock) and wholesalers, to distribution centers, to dark stores - and ultimately the end-consumer.
- Developing a cohesive long-term strategy to operationally support HappyFresh’s aggressive growth plans in the coming years, acting as an enabler for reliably scaling our logistics operations and consolidating our position as industry leader in quality - in a cost efficient manner
- Build and lead the HQ Logistics Operations team. You will be defining hiring needs and drive recruitment for key positions necessary to further mature our operational capabilities (i.e. operations research, network analysis and fulfilment engine modelling, project leaders, etc.)
- Partner with other senior leaders at HappyFresh to help define the company’s scale up plan through identifying opportunities in which Logistics can add strategic value to our competitive positioning (i.e. scaling our operations further upstream to work directly with producers, import/export, service level offerings and differentiation, etc.)
- Developing blueprints for setting
- and scaling up logistics in new markets, as well leading the actual set-up routine (recruitment of skeleton teams, setting up SOPs, partnering with Product to drive localization, etc.)

**What Will You Need**:

- You have at least 8 years hands-on experience in a similar capacity
- You have experience in a leadership position and the agility to spearhead complex programs at a tactical level to complete project implementations
- Possess excellent business acumen, communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skill to formulate the strategy and concepts
- A (figuratively) professional juggler, who loves to be exposed to multiple challenges
- In-depth knowledge/experience of performance management strategies and tactics
