**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee R&D operations and business development operations
- Develop and implement R&D and business development strategies
- Conduct market research
- Conduct technology research
- Develop and implement new business concepts
- Develop and implement R&D concepts
- Research identify and negotiate with co-creation partners
- Plan and implement action plan
- Budget and allocate resources and expenses
- Improve revenue
- Educate and train staff

- Coordinate and resolve technical and quality issues
- Manage and coordinate related players
- Other R&D and R&D business development management duties

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge and experience in R&D-based Business planning and development.
- Good knowledge and experience in R&D planning and development.
- Good knowledge and experience in technologies area related to lighting, energy, air quality and automation systems.
- Proficient in Japanese in order to liaise with related party, required to have at least JLPT N1 level as the role requires communication with Japan HQ and translation of Japanese documents to English and vice versa (Business level)
- Able to take initiative and work under mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Possess good corporate network and relationship
- Highly organized
- Strong work ethic
- Team player
- Familiar with Japanese Firm operations
- Have experience in dealing with Japanese customer
