JR50179 FE Global Planning SIC Senior Engineer (Materials)
**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
- Optimize demand request among DRAM/NAND network fabs to maximize output and minimize opex
- Standardize and consolidate FE Materials Forecast Metrics performance and roll up for executive metrics' update.
- Improvement of efficiency of network metrics' consolidation through automation.
- Partner with sites closely to enable timely communication of fab deviation to plan.
- Forecast potential roadblocks in Warehouse inventory management and communicate with sites on mitigation plans.
- Govern FE Warehouse Operation ground rules, coordinate audits to ensure compliance and conformance to audit guidelines
- Collaborate with Site Warehouse team and Procurement team to improve and optimize inventory, efficiency, and cost.
- Govern materials planning forecast and deploy Best-Known-Methods (BKM)
- Monitor, identify and analyze material inventory forecast Performance-to-Plan gaps and work with sites to drive gap closure and improvement actions
- Manage, measure, and monitor projects to ensure deliverables and time frames are met.
- Facilitate deployment of projects to improve materials forecast accuracy, cost, output performance.
- Own and maintain the Global Inventory Metrics, Business processes and Reports.
- Promote and model the use of analytical and systematic thinking processes.
- Create an environment of motivation to foster global team member’s engagement to the fullest of their potential.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years experience in Warehouse/Manufacturing/Inventory Control/Production Planning/Line Management
- Fluent in the basic concept of weekly wafer starts and wafer outs business process.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Tableau) to perform detailed analysis and provide metrics visibility.
- Proven ability to make decisions, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems and address root causes.
- Proven ability to build consensus in cross-functional groups
- Experience in SAP system will be advantageous.
