Blackbox is looking for a Research Executive to join and assist in the research activities, workshop facilitation, and produce insightful, stimulating reports. You will be involved in all aspects of project coordination, report conceptualization, focus group discussion, participant observations, and surveys.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Plan and implement quantitative and qualitative research, including in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, participant observations, and surveys
- Conduct reviews of academic literature, as well as trends and social media scans
- Play an active role in designing and facilitating workshops and capability building sessions with both clients and study participants
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful reports and presentations
- Provide effective and timely client servicing.

**Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities**
- Degree in Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, or another related social science discipline
- Preferably at least 1 year of research and/or consulting experience (within government, public/third sector/academic, or at a research consulting firm)
- Preferably with prior experience in qualitative or quantitative data analysis
- Ambidextrous thinker who is comfortable with data and able to think laterally and creatively
- Possess a proactive learning attitude who is self-motivated and a self-starter
- A collaborative team player who is not afraid to articulate his or her points-of-view
- Organized, meticulous, deadline-driven, and able to multi-task
- Works well under pressure, with the patience and perseverance to see through long timelines
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin/Malay/Tamil)

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus

COVID-19 considerations:
Work from home by default and only goes to office / sites when necessary.
