**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of safety and facilities direct reports, custodian contractors, operations champions and cross functional team to effectively implement the safety and facilities Framework within the company operating system
- Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders (operations, support group) to design, implement and sustain programmes to reduce incidents, promote a positive safety culture, comply to regulatory requirements, and raise awareness on safety, facilities and sustainability requirements
- Provide technical guidance on risk assessments standards and ensure compliance and currency of identified controls through a risk-based inspection blueprint.
- Conduct/ prepare content for safety related trainings to build competencies which includes train the trainer trainings, incident management, new employee orientation and other trainings as identified in the framework training needs analysis
- Conduct incident investigation and/or validate completed investigation root cause and submission of the required reports to the required stakeholders
- Monitor and implement the framework audit and inspection plan to ensure adequacy, effectiveness and assurance on all compliance matters which include safety related licenses, legal requirements, incident reporting, submission of reports to authorities, facilities related inspection, test, certifications, licenses, energy, water & sustainability matters
- Oversee the facilities team to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of planned/preventive maintenance work on mechanical & electrical system, overhead crane system, building, landscaping, cleaning, pest control etc. of all company premises at different locations.
- Ensure high availability of all equipment and facilities in line with operational requirements and establish service level agreements to contractors and monitor performance, formally review on a regular basis
- Implement the contractor management and management of change program to ensure mitigation of risks associated with contractors/suppliers and change/new process respectively
- Conduct Meta analysis of data and trends to continuously improve processes and systems with context sensitive solutions which leverage the latest technology.

**Requirements**:

- 10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, Environment, Facilities with 5 years in a management role. Aviation background is preferred
- Degree in HSE/ Facilities/ Engineering or equivalent and a WSHO & Fire Safety Manager
- Strong leader, team player and communicator with experience in advising and engaging stakeholders (Board, Management, Employee)
- An innovator with track record of implementing culture change and creative solutions which leverage technology
