KONE Singapore is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking a **Bid Manager **to join our Sales team.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
- To do risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
- Accountable for managing and for contribution to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary).
- Manage the Major Project bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for the opportunity(-ies).
- Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
- Responsible for understanding and resolving complex technical, strategic and business issue.
- Arrange all pre
- and post
- bid reviews with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Communicate with all people within KONE involved in bid process.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in commercial or technical field and/or several years’ experience in sales management and customer engagement.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Highly self-motivating and attentive to details.
- Must be comfortable working at Executive Level (internal and external customers) and other levels.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in elevator business or relevant business is a must.
- Strong technical knowledge on elevators and escalators preferred.
- Experience in major projects or complex product/services opportunities.
- Ideally has a background in solutions and services and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery, and will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions, and solution design.
- Will be fully conversant with the competitive marketplace. Sound commercial understanding, and risk management skills. Have the ability to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities. Solid understanding and implementation of internal governance procedures.

- Understand market trends and customer needs to propose the best people flow solution.
