We are hiring Strategy Consultants to be part of growing our footprint and presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Today, our organization in Southeast Asia consists of six markets with a mission to assist Swedish companies to develop and grow their business. We are now looking for a new colleague to further strengthen our team in Singapore.

Today, around 300 companies with ties to Sweden are active in Singapore - and many are exploring this exciting and important market. In addition, there are a large number of Singaporean companies and partners which also represent Swedish products and technologies. This is an exciting time to join the team and a great opportunity to develop your career in a growing and dynamic region.

Working for Business Sweden is a varied job in which you will encounter many types of clients and service. Work ranges from complex strategic deals to smaller operational projects and clients vary from multinationals to small family-owned businesses.

As an Associate, you will:

- Support senior colleagues reaching Business Sweden´s objective of expanding Swedish trade with Singapore and growing into a senior business development professional
- Work alongside experienced trade
- and business development consultants and project managers
- Work in a challenging environment, walking the extra mile to help Swedish companies on their international journey

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Primary work in trade promotion programs - helping Swedish companies doing business in Singapore. Many time you will work together with the Swedish Embassy
- Support in business acceleration projects for Swedish companies. The projects can involve market entry studies, sales support, government affairs and stakeholder analysis
- Support with arranging business meetings with local clients and/or partners for Swedish companies
- Support in sales activities of Business Sweden’s services towards Swedish companies. This includes contacting and setting up sales meetings with Swedish companies both in Sweden and in the region
- Creating market reports on business opportunities for Swedish companies
- Hands-on and operational support as well as administration

**Requirements**:

- Academic degree, preferably a Master of Science in Business, Administration or/and Engineering. Degree from a Swedish university is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of working experience, preferably in a areas like sales, marketing or trade promotion
- Experienced in sales and marketing
- A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Results-oriented, highly analytical, and adaptable
- Social and team-working skills are highly valued as well as an ability to handle new challenges
- Proficiency in Swedish is an added advantageous
