South Side Keppel is an all‑day brunch cafe and dining destination along the Keppel waterfront. Known for our signature Swiss Rösti, smoked‑salmon rosti, luxurious Wagyu steak & ikura dishes, and dinner specials like roasted half French chicken and pan‑seared barramundi, we offer a relaxed yet lively dining experience with a focus on quality and consistency South Side KeppelSouth Side Keppel.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare high-quality dishes with precision and consistency, following recipe and presentation standards.
- Manage a specific kitchen station (e.g. grill, sauté, pastry), including mise-en-place and station set-up.
- Supervise and coordinate with Commis chefs, ensuring tasks run smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen.
- Monitor food cost and portion controls; assist with stock rotation and waste reduction.
- Adhere to Food Safety Management System (FSMS) standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure efficient service flow.
- Provide input on seasonal specials or menu enhancements, when requested by senior chefs.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Diploma or certificate in culinary arts, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience in commercial or all‑day dining kitchen environments; experience in brunch or café cuisine is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of local and Western cooking techniques.
- Holds a valid Singapore Food Hygiene certificate (Level 1 or above).
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
