Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation and preparation of purchase orders. You will also be tasked to build and maintain good relationships with CMs/suppliers, provide expertise for supplier selection.
- Responsibilities
- Main point-of-contact for all contract manufacturers and suppliers- Responsible to source, screen and engage contract manufacturers to assess their capacity & competency to meet HYDRAGUN’s needs- Evaluate contract manufacturer/supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organisational requirements and expectations- Provide recommendation for selection of contract manufacturers/suppliers- Negotiate for advantageous payment terms- Prepare and maintain contract agreements- Perform risk assessment in potential contracts and agreements according to the organisational requirements and expectation- Responsible for managing supplier quality - track supplier quality performance (pre & post-launch)- Follow up on quality issues on products with CM/ supplier to drive improvements- Assist with operational purchasing needsRequirements & skills
- Diploma in Procurement/Supply Chain/Engineering or equivalent- At least 3 years of relevant working experience (preferably in consumer electronics)- Excellent communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills- Resourceful, self-driven, proactive- Can work independently without supervisionGood analytical skills- Able to work under stress in a fast paced environment.- Proficient in use of Gsuite/ MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)- Proficient in written and spoken MandarinNice-to-haves
- Self-starter.
