**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using **CAD software** (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.).
- Create and optimize mechanical designs with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform **stress analysis, thermal analysis, and material selection** to ensure designs meet performance requirements.
- Prototype and test designs, working hands-on with assembly, integration, and verification of prototypes.
- Collaborate with the electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic systems.
- Support the **continuous improvement** of mechanical design processes, identifying opportunities for design enhancements and cost reductions.
- Prepare detailed **technical drawings, specifications, and documentation** for production and assembly.
- Participate in **design reviews, product testing, and troubleshooting** activities to ensure product reliability and quality.
- Stay updated with the latest mechanical engineering trends, technologies, and best practices.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- ** Bachelor's Degree** in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in **mechanical design** using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.).
- Strong background in **prototyping**, including hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with **basic mechatronics**, including understanding of mechanical-electrical integration.
- Solid understanding of **materials science**, mechanical principles, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of **FEM** (Finite Element Modeling) or similar analysis techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work onsite in Singapore and adhere to local regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or advanced certifications in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience with **3D printing** and **rapid prototyping** techniques.
- Previous experience in product development, particularly in **consumer electronics, robotics, or automation** industries.
