To support a smooth and effective operation of logistics and inventory management, you would:
- Manage inventories including inventory planning, import & export of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to agreed levels.
- Ensure movement entries in SAP for finished products, raw materials, and packaging.
- Ensure on - time delivery from local suppliers and import operation processes following agreed service levels at the lowest cost possible.
- Coordinate with transporters / forwarders for dispatch, monitor shipping status after dispatch of customer goods and ensure compliance with event schedules.
- Create invoices and packing lists of goods to be dispatched and ensure all statutory and company required paperwork / invoices is up to date through effective record keeping and organization.
- Generate timely reporting of inventory and supply capability from local suppliers, compare forecast and actual order on meeting targets.
- Ensure Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standard is strictly followed by warehouse staffs and 3rd party logistics / truck providers, ensure proper briefing / training is done regularly.
- Improve continuously, the efficiency of supply and logistics processes including EHS standard.
QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration (Logistics / Supply Chain Management is preferred).
- 5 & above years of experience in logistics / supply chain management.
- Hands on experience on ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality Management Systems and Environment, Health and Safety Transportation regulations.
- Knowledge of Import & Export management.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects and process multiple tasks as required.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and the local language.
