We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Head of Music Business Development (China Market)**to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in expanding the School's reach and impact within the vibrant Chinese music industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic plans for market entry and expansion within the Chinese music market.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key opportunities and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players in China, including record labels, music publishing companies, live music venues, and streaming platforms.
- Identify and pursue potential partnerships with Chinese institutions, universities, and cultural organizations.
- Explore and develop new revenue streams through collaborations with industry partners.
- Negotiate and close deals with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing and outreach campaigns to promote the School's programs and offerings to the Chinese market.
- Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and workshops in China.
- Represent the School at relevant industry events and conferences.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of business development professionals.
- Set clear objectives, track progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the Chinese music industry.
- Analyze market data and prepare regular reports on the progress of business development activities.Develop and implement strategies to adapt to the evolving needs of the Chinese market.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- 15+ years of professional experience in music business development, marketing, or international relations.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic partnerships.
- Deep understanding of the Chinese music industry, including its market dynamics, key players, and cultural nuances.
- Strong network of contacts within the Chinese music industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken), in order to communicate with Chinese partners.
- Ability to travel internationally, particularly to China.
