**Roles & Responsibilities**
- The Assistant General Director (AGD) is to provide support to the General Director (GD) in his overall leadership for the organization. The AGD is meant to enhance the GD’s main focus to be visionary, executive, and international in nature, and help to ensure that OMF is a spiritually sound and healthy organization.
- The AGD should know OMF as an organization well and also be able to complement the GD in the area of visionary, missiological, theological, strategic, and organizational leadership, by showing people skills and conflict management, as well as to provide execute leadership in a wide range of areas for tasks delegated by the GD.
- The AGD would be part of OMF's International Leadership Team and needs a good understanding of the contemporary missiological and global issues and how those related to the ministries of the organization in fulfilling its purpose.
- As an overall leader in OMF, he or she must be familiar with OMF procedures and committed to strong collaboration and partnership across a range of cultural contexts while being rooted in the organization’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
- The AGD needs to have strong intercultural competence, good working proficiency in English and a well-informed understanding of crisis management in the present geopolitical contexts of East Asia.
