Designed as a global shared ledger, Partior aims to disrupt the traditional cross-border payment by leveraging on blockchain technology to reduce current frictions and latency, minimizing post transaction exception handling and reconciliation activities.
Key distinguishing features are around privacy solution, complete decentralized hosting and consensus efficiency - providing a commercial scalability which enables it to be a platform of choice for hosting multiple CBDCs and commercial bank digital currencies.
To encourage broad participation across the banking industry, Partior will be actively engaging leading banks to join the platform to establish the scale required to benefit the industry. The platform will start with a focus on facilitating flows primarily between Singapore-based banks in both USD and SGD, with the intent to expand service offerings to other markets and in various currencies.
**Role: Paralegal / Legal Executive
**Key Professional Requirements**
- Paralegal and/or contract management experience and education at a university level or equivalent are a plus but not required.
- Preferably have significant prior experience as a paralegal or legal executive assistant.
- In-house experience in a financial institution or technology company (blockchain/ fintech) is preferable.
**Responsibilities**
- **Supporting General Counsel, and General Administration / Project Management**
- Provide general administration and other tasks needed to support the General Counsel and legal team
- Project managing new legal initiatives or business initiatives needing legal support.
- Actively track important deadlines and tasks and provide support for other special projects and departmental matters.
- **Corporate Governance Housekeeping**
- Perform corporate housekeeping tasks, including tracking of documents and routing documents for signature and distribution, document filing, and data organization.
- Support GC in corporate secretarial matters such as coordination of resolutions and tracking of signatures.
- Assist GC in developing presentation for Board Meetings.
- **Maintenance of Legal Documentation**:
- Develop and manage standardized contract templates and legal processes, including on a contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool or processes.
- Organize, index, and track corporate documents and records, including organizational documents, rulebooks, policies, templates and agreements
- **Drive Efficiency in Legal Processes**
- Drive efficiency and work-process improvements across our teams, including the use new technology/ tools to assist with the preceding.
- Lead or participate in projects to improve internal processes and increase the efficiency and scalability of commercial legal support.
- **Outside Counsel and Budgeting Management**
- Manage outside counsel engagement including support with budgeting and processing of legal invoices,
- Document and track legal opinion obtained as part of document management.
- Synthesis outside counsel newsletter for GC to review and monitor the development of laws and regulations
