Paralegal (Litigation / Family)

Requirements:

Minimum GCE 'O' Levels / Diploma in Law

  • Relevant experience in law firms is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage legal time-lines
  • Ability to multi-task, meticulous and organised
  • Has initiative and willing to learn
  • Good inter-personal skills and team player
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Provide administrative support including file opening and billing
  • Drafting court documents and legal correspondence
  • Conduct legal research
  • E-file court documents using E-Litigation
  • Collate documents and preparation of bundles for hearing
  • Experience in handling Family Law related matters will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Managing Partner
  • Provide full legal secretarial services/paralegal assistance, and administrative support to lawyers such as liaising with clients, filing, calendar management & e-filing of documents
  • To assist with legal research
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties assigned
