Hardware Electrical Engineering Intern (HW EE)

As an Electrical Engineering Hardware (EE HW) Intern, you will enjoy being part of a global community of top engineers, who are at the heart of the company’s innovative technology infrastructure products. You will have the opportunity to work on design and development of Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs) used in our Ethernet switch systems. You will also take part in conducting feasibility, design margin and validation analysis, and empirical testing on electronic subsystems of network switches designs.

In a typical day as an Electrical Engineering Hardware Intern, you would
- Work on small independent engineering projects
- Responsible in designing circuits, schematic capture and layout activities for projects in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.
- Validate portions of engineering implementations for prototypes and Ethernet switch systems based on established engineering principles.
- Implement established test plans to verify requirements compliance
- Support investigations, analysis of engineering issues and solutions
- Prepare reports and write technical documentation

If you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics
- Knowledge and some experience in the use of PCB CAD tools
- Some experience with simulation tools for analog/digital design
- Good grasp of engineering fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for technology
- Eager, quick learner with strong team-work spirit
