We have a current opportunity for a Head of Contracts & Purchasing on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Singapore. For further information about this position please apply.
- Oversee the operation of Contracts and Purchasing Department
- Work closely with the HOD, Project Directors and Managers (PMs) to resolve any HSSEQ issues so as to improve the overall HSSEQ standards in our Company
- Formulate purchasing policies and strategies and maintain the procurement and purchasing system
- Source for process equipment, bulk and construction materials to support project sites at competitive price, timely delivery and to the required quality
- Manage the Vendor Management System with respect to maintenance of the Approved Vendor List, Vendor performance evaluation and nurturing vendor partnership
- Tender commercial projects and any other types of projects as assigned by the CEO or his designate
- Review contract requirements and price for the cost involved and to submit the tender cost recommendation to the CEO or his designate
