- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conditions for the handling, storage and preservation of samples
- Develop testing protocols and procedures for materials, products and other Quality Control purposes
- Implement processes for testing the quality of materials, products, and other Quality Control purposes
- Analyse testing results and the frequency and severity of product defects and quality lapses
- Conduct root cause analyses for product defects and quality lapses
- Approve testing documentation and lab records
- Manage laboratory operations
- Investigate underlying causes, technical faults and practices that impact laboratory equipment operation and systems functionality
- Execute qualification and implementation of new system and equipment
- Develop the protocols/procedures for laboratory systems and equipment to be inspected and tested
- Develop guidelines and standard practices for data documentation and analysis
- Determine and implement optimal calibration standards for laboratory equipment operation
- Develop and maintain equipment lifecycle plan
- Communicate potential implications of Quality Control (QC) data trends and results to relevant stakeholders
- Review reports for data documentation and analysis
- Approve reports for data documentation and analysis
- Optimise Quality and Efficiency of QC workflow/processes
- Compile data to support business and performance metrics reporting
- Participate directly in laboratory inspections and audits
- Implement initiatives to encourage improvement of QC procedures, activities and workflows
- Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and changes made to QC activities and workflows
- Review and report data to support business and performance metrics reporting
- Conduct training for laboratories
- Site point of contact for global communities/initiatives
