**Job Summary**

Provide Tooling quality spares for manufacturing operations in mold configuration changes, maintenance, repairs and all tooling.

This is a permanent position, 12 hours day shift 7am to 7pm, shift pattern 3/4/4/3.

**General Accountability**
- Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing Company's rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.
- Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD, and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.
- Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) accounting. Observing GMP rules and procedures.
- Observe BD Code of Ethics.
- Reporting on all incidents/accidents, near misses, deviation from plan and when required, to take part in further investigations.

**Operation Tasks**
- Support mold repairs and mold maintenance activities in Toolroom operations.
- Support Mold daily activities working with team on time delivery to reduce down time
- Record, maintain all document for insert changes and mold repairs
- Support and work with Molding team on Mold changeover and recover CU activities in day today issues
- Participate actively and provide support in Tooling CI activities
- Prepare well advance for tooling for upcoming mold activities and Mold PM
- Maintain good house keeping - 5S, Safety in Toolroom area, work bench and machines, tools and equipment at all times.
- Provide technical support to Tooling Engineer as and when required.
- Co-ordinate/Perform Toolroom Mold preventive maintenance task within established schedule.
- Analysis the molding defects and take appropriate tooling action plan to solve defects and maintain the mold CU 100%
- Co-ordinate and recommend continuous improvement in work methods to enhanc mold CU efficiency.
- Co-ordinate with vendor on insert rework and technical discussion

**Supporting Tasks**
- Participate in continuous improvement initiative/activities.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Diploma in Precision or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Must have 2- 5 years work experience in tool and die making, Plastic mold making environment company/metal machining industries.
- Must have at least 2 years hands on experience on measuring of mechanical parts.
- Must have minimum 2 years hands on experience on metal machining, mold trouble shooting experience and handling of inspection tools (ex: profile projector, smart scope, vernier caliper, micrometer).

**Accountability**
- Meet Target of Mold Cavity utilization Target(CU) and mold preventive maintenance schedule.
- No shortage of spares for mold recovery.
