**Job Title**: Java Developer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including Junit testing, integration testing, deployment, and support.
- Implement RESTful web services and develop solutions using the Hibernate ORM framework.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL queries for Oracle DB (19c preferred).
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues independently, providing solutions and improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development (Java 1.8 and above) and J2EE (JSP, Servlet, Hibernate, JDBC, JNDI, and JMS Queue).
- Experience with at least 2 web-based Java projects deployed under Tomcat/WebLogic.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
- Experience with the Java Persistence API (JPA) and RESTful web services.
- Proficient in PL/SQL with hands-on experience in Oracle DB (19c preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a collaborative environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Domain knowledge in the Utility sector (e.g., Electric Smart Meter operations) is an added advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug XML/XSLT transformations.
- Experience with version control systems like SVN.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $6,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Core Java (Java 1.8+): 5 years (required)

- J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlet, Hibernate, etc.): 5 years (preferred)
- hands-on experience with Oracle DB and PL/SQL queries: 3 years (preferred)
- MVC architecture and Linux/Unix environments: 3 years (preferred)
- developing RESTful web services (JPA, Hibernate): 3 years (preferred)
