
Head of Insurance

Reporting to the Group Head of Insurance, you will assist him in delivering the P&L and aggressive growth targets for Hyphen Group's insurance channels (Car Insurance, Home and content, Travel Insurance, Personal Accident, Life, Critical illness).
You will lead our team of insurance brokers and drive the growth of our insurance business. As the Head of Insurance, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with insurance companies and developing new business opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen partnerships with insurance companies to increase our market share and profitability.
- Lead and manage a team of insurance brokers, providing coaching and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive the growth of the insurance business.
- Collaborate with the product development team to identify new insurance products and services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Monitor industry trends and keep up-to-date with changes in the insurance market, making recommendations for business improvement and growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and external partners.
- Analyse sales and financial data to assess the performance of the insurance business, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and maintain a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for insurance products and services.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with a focus on non-life insurance background
- Preferably holding a valid insurance broker's license
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating a team of insurance brokers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of insurance products and services, including relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in the insurance industry.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
