A Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining computer networks within an organization. They ensure network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient. They troubleshoot network issues, install and configure network equipment, and provide technical support to users. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of network protocols and technologies.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPNs on network products
- Manage and administer Network Firewalls & IPS
- Configure, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
- Perform network health monitoring and capacity planning
- Managing existing and deploying new networks configurations, including routers, firewalls, load balancers & switches
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 supports for internal and external customers
- Updating the latest Firmware’s & security patches to the Network equipment’s
- Update documentations on IT inventory and processes
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
- Monitor and maintain all levels of network security internally and externally
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
- Liaise with vendors and contractors on systems support and faulty equipment rectification

Requirement
- Previous working experience as a Network Engineer for minimum 4 years
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP & VLAN
- Must be proficient in using network analyser/sniffing tools such as Sniffer, Wireshark and Ethereal for troubleshooting network issues
- Must have good understanding of network technologies like advanced IP Routing, Switching and Wireless network
- Hands on experience with equipment from Checkpoint, Fortinet and Cisco
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
