Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and refine the company’s long-term strategic roadmap in collaboration with the CEO and executive team.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify growth opportunities.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for strategic initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional strategy sessions to align departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering) with corporate objectives.
2. Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead due diligence, negotiations, and integration planning for M&A opportunities.
- Foster relationships with key industry stakeholders, investors, and technology partners.
3. Performance Optimization & Corporate Governance
- Monitor business performance against strategic goals, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Oversee corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Implement best practices for operational efficiency and scalability
4. Innovation & Market Expansion
- Assess emerging technologies (AI, cloud computing, fintech) and their potential impact on AppsPOS’s offerings.
- Drive expansion strategies, including geographic growth and new market penetration.
- Collaborate with Product Management to align R&D investments with market demands.
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Communication
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors, investors, and senior leadership.
- Mentor and guide teams on strategic thinking and execution.
- Serve as a thought leader, representing AppsPOS at industry conferences and events.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or business development, preferably in SaaS/software.
- Proven track record in leading M&A, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
- Experience in retail tech, POS, or payment solutions is a plus.
