**Job Description**:
**PRIMARY OBJECTIVE**:

- Liaise with Commercial Banking customers to obtain KYC and other compliance information / documentation in accordance to Bank’s AML policy;
- Ensure completeness, suitability and validity of KYC documents / information received from customer; and
- Handle KYC document collection and related inquiries /complaints independently.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Understand the Bank’s customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) measures to undertake for customers, and the requirements listed under MAS Notice 626, its accompanying Guidelines and published circulars/papers;
- Perform CDD/EDD measures on the customer, which involve:
- Collecting/extracting/retrieving the necessary EDD information and documents from the customer or the authorized personnel, or from publicly available sources while preparing the EDD review submission;
- Verify customers in accordance to established customer outreach process;
- Escalate issues, gaps and lapses identified with to managers and/or AML Advisory team in a timely
- manner;
- Request for extension of KYC review timeline and implement account restrictions on customers whose KYC remains incomplete;
- Work closely with AML Operations and RMs, if necessary, to complete EDD documentation obligations of the clients;
- Assist supervisor and the team with any other adhoc duties and tasks as and when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/Diploma and above in Business, Accounting, Finance and relevant disciplines
- Preferably with at least 1-3 years of experience in
- AML Compliance in related industry;
- Customer service, in particular handling outbound / inbound customer calls.

**Professional Accreditation**:

- Preferably with AML professional qualifications/certifications
