**Job Description & Requirements**:
**1. Line Operation and Performance (either Dry parts or Liquid Section)**
- Manpower allocation and resource optimization for the production line.
- Ensure that the pre-approved overtime for the week is kept within plan.
- Conduct daily tool-box meetings with team members to align production targets, resolve issues, etc. to meet business requirements.
- Ensure strict manufacturing adherence to formula described in PI sheet. Ensure correct ingredients and quantities are used.
- Control and monitor production yield.
- Supervision of shop floor activities and production processes.
- Carry out trial runs such as process changes, new products, new product label designs, feasibility study of new packaging materials, etc. Supervision of trial runs including monitoring of processes and follow-up with Commercialization team.
- Participate in the preparation of weekly production plan to optimize manpower manning and minimize production changeover.
- Maintain process checklists and ensure all production records are updated at all times.
- Process and equipment setup.
- Ensure all instruments/equipment are maintained, cleaned, stored and properly handled during use including performing periodic verification checks as required.
- Communicate nonconforming events and participate in problem-solving sessions.
- Implement preventive maintenance and calibration plans. Perform emergency repairs and trouble-shooting analysis to achieve continuous high line utilization performance for production.
- Help in the production line as need to basis.
- Ensure accuracy of PO/PI Sheet documents (completion, completion to schedule, actual vs. SAP rates) prior to submission to QA and summarize issues for discussion with Production Supervisor/Manager. Ensure that all SAP transactions are carried out properly.
**2. Continuous Improvement**
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as productivity improvement, cost savings in primary or secondary packaging materials, waste minimization and energy cost.
- Implement best practices in the plant.
- Hourly monitoring and tracking of OEE2 of assigned production line.
- Analyse production systems and data, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and cost control.
- Lead team in PA/CA (preventive action/corrective action) processes in addressing metrics with issues.
- Assist and lead initiatives on Industry 4.0 transformation and work on projects concerning the company's digital journey.
**3. System Compliance**
- Ensure strict compliance to company’s policies and procedures and/or regulatory requirements at work (e.g. corporate/regulatory compliance, safety, quality, environment, security, GMP, regulatory, confidentiality, etc.).
- Achieve zero defect product manufacturing.
- Participate/conduct Internal Quality Audits or other similar requirement.
**4. Team Development**
- Participate as a peer review in Peak Performance Process for team members.
- Motivate/co-lead team members in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and other plant activities.
- Assess training needs of team members. Conduct skills training and certification for team members. Document training records.
- Provide timely feedback on team performance issues.
- Support team development and build team rapport.
