**What the role is**
- The Registry of Co-operative Societies and Mutual Benefit Organisations (MBOs) regulate co-operatives and MBOs, with the key objective of protecting members’ interests.
We are looking for an Assistant Director / Senior Manager to join our Registry of Co-operative Societies (RCS) & Mutual Benefit Organisations (MBO) team. You will have the opportunity to shape policies that will impact the members of co-operative societies (“co-ops”), MBOs and the broader community.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be responsible for the following:

- Monitor and assess regulatory compliance of regulated entities
- Work with consultants to conduct special audits
- Engage regulated entities to address compliance and governance issues
- Collaborate with industry body to develop the co-op sector
- Formulate and review policies to strengthen the co-op and MBO sectors

**What we are looking for**
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, policy or regulatory work
- Proactive, willing to learn, meticulous and able to work independently and as a team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Good communication skills
