**Job Overview**:
Burger King has been flame grilling since 1954 and is nowadays one of the most loved restaurant brands globally. Burger King stands for a great taste made of real ingredients, generosity, flame grilling, and setting trends through innovation. Burger King leads innovation in the plant-based category, grows its footprint in the premium segment, and develops fast digital sales channels, loyalty, and guest engagement. Great guest experience is central to all our efforts, which includes ensuring that our favorite products offer superior taste vs main competitors.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Culinary & Commercialization Lead of regional innovation and renovation projects - develop products superior in taste while cost competitive with a focus on the excellence of core portfolio.
- Translate consumer insights into designing new winning products and ingredients.
- Collaborate closely with RBI regional teams, BK franchisee teams, and global suppliers to be close to business and co-lead pipeline creation.
- Prepare prototypes for consumer tests and internal demonstrations, and run taste tests with suppliers and agency providers.
- Leverage and expand suppliers' chef network
- bring new insights, organize ideation sessions and supplier innovation days
- Present innovation project progress to RBI Leadership, ensuring alignment.
- Organize online and offline innovation ideation and pipeline-building meetings.
- Contribute to delivering against Burger King sustainability targets through leading food innovation projects in this area.
- Lead test kitchen agenda and organization with Popeyes and Tim Hortons teams.
**Required Skills**:
- 3 + years of experience working in food service culinary lead role with a proven record of delivering successful innovations; a culinary certificate is a plus (from hospitality school, apprenticeship, bachelor's diploma)
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, nutrition, and/or food science, food technology, or a related field
- Experience in a corporate R&D environment with a proven track record in leading projects, preferred industries: QSR or FMCG
- Experience using commercial kitchen equipment and modern cooking technology
- Fluent in English
