ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role, responsible for all General Ledger matters for assigned legal entities and ensure accurate and timely reporting of the results. The role is required to have a close partnership with other finance teams, internal key business partners as well as external audit/tax/legal agents. In addition, the role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaise closely with SSC (shared service centre), external auditors, and relevant personnel from various departments in the company to assist in statutory audit and tax queries
Assist in preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation schedules and monthly Cash Flow Report
Track and monitor SOX control evidence for APAC (excluding AU and China) entities
Liaise with control owners from respective departments to follow up on the SOX controls
Coordinate user access reviews for systems/portals
Coordinate review and approval of quarterly reports
Liaise with Company Secretary for statutory compliance requirements
