ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Trainee/Junior Ship Broker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Brokers.

He/She

1. Maintain databases and prepare market information and reports of clients.

2. Assist to manage internal data flow of key market information.

3. Maintain a database of sales activities and produce management/operations reports

4. Assist on the administrative work with contracts and correspondence.

5. Assist to field queries and establish/maintain effective client relationships.

6. Assist to conduct post fixture support in a prompt and efficient manner.

7. Attend meetings and events where required.

8. Ad hoc duties as and when required to meet the needs of the business.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
1. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (applicable to Junior Ship Broker position)

2. Relevant academic background

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

4. Detailed and able to manage deadlines

5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team
