**Ceramics Studio Technician [Part-Time ONLY]**

About Am I Addicted

As part of the INITIA Group, we aim to create a guild-like platform for all Singapore ceramic artists and makers. We plan to open the biggest pottery studio and team, using our space not only as a ceramic studio but also as a place for gallery and as party venues. We sincerely hope to work together with all-ceramic art enthusiasts.

**Work location: 13 Stamford Rd, Capitol, Singapore**

**Salary: $9 - 12/hr**

**Hours: At least 30 - 35 hours per week**

**Job Description**:
Duties will include:

- Assisting daily tasks in the ceramic studio (including teaching and technician works: glaze mixing, usage of the kiln, etc.);
- Involved in the preparation of exhibition and event;
- Prepare the studio before and after workshops including set-up and cleaning;
- Produce AIA ceramic products for retail purposes;
- Assist full-time staff with kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces;
- Maintain the daily operations of the ceramic studio, including engaging with visitors, facilitating retail sales, and routine facilities maintenance;
- Constant maintenance of cleanliness of the ceramic studio;
- Maintain inventory record and installing exhibitions;
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.

General Requirements:

- Basic pottery skills (On throwing, turning, and glazing, etc.) is an absolute advantage;
- Knowledge of ceramics is a must (Throwing, Trimming, Glazing, Mixing Glaze, Pack Kiln);
- Passionate and interested in ceramics;
- Proactive and eager to learn;
- Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers;
- A team player;
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays;
- Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills
