Pottery Artist

**JOB SUMMARY/JOB OVERVIEW**:
We are looking for a **Pottery Artist **who uses their artistic talents to create pots, dishes, mugs, vases, and other types of artworks.


**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Pottery tutoring;
- Design pottery classes;
- Plan exhibitions and events including artist workshops;
- Kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces;
- Design and produce AIA ceramic products for retail purposes;
- Sets up, cleans, and demonstrates the use of equipment and instruments;
- Maintains inventories and orders supplies following purchasing procedures;
- Monitors safety and security of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials;
- Maintains cleanliness of work area;
- Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Possess intermediate knowledge of ceramics (throwing, trimming, and glazing);
- Able to make sake sets and teapot sets;
- Experience with teaching ceramics will be an absolute advantage;
- Passionate about working in the ceramics industry;
- Responsible and well-organized;
- With good communication skills, a team player, and enjoys interacting with customers;
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays;
- Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills;
- Open to work in Singapore
