We are hiring a
**Regional**
**Inventory Manager **to be based in McGraw Hill Singapore. Our operations team plays a vital role in ensuring that our customers continue to have market-leading materials and content, enhancing the learning experience for educators and students.

The role of the Regional Inventory Manager is to implement the right supply chain processes and best practices across Asia operation and our global supply chain organization which will enable us to meet or exceed their goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and implementing best practices
- Purchase product, planning inventory and managing transport and logistics partners
- Maintain and assure accuracy and consistency of the data on internal systems
- Ensure that the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
- Help to formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Help to manage budgets and forecasts set by the business
- Perform quality controls and monitoring of KPIs
- Recruit, train and the supervision of staff
- Manage the growth and success of the team
- Find ways to increase quality of inventory management

**Key competencies required for this role**:

- Strong experience within a stock and distribution environment, coupled with excellent demand and supply chain planning skills.
- Capable management of meeting operational targets
- The ability to work and communicate with senior managers across APAC, including understanding cultural differences.
- Prior experience in publishing, FMCG industry is a plus.
